Banknote design challenge for families and schools

Calling all aspiring designers! Have a go at creating some new banknote imagery

Get the kids involved

Our next series of banknotes will feature images of wildlife native to the UK. An expert panel has helped us put together a shortlist of animals that could feature on them.

We are asking the public to take part in our consultation and let us know which animals they would like to see on our banknotes. But we have also come up with a fun – and simple – way for the children of the UK to take part.

Teachers and parents – download and print the worksheet below, and challenge the kids to design their own versions of the new banknotes. They can choose an animal from our shortlist and draw a picture to show us how it could look.
