We recognise that there is a large untapped talent pool of high-calibre men and women who have taken time out of their careers for a variety of different reasons, who are now looking to return to the workplace.
Therefore, in 2018 the Bank collaborated with Career Returners, a specialist return-to-work organisation, to create the first Bank of England Career Returners Programme to attract and support returning professionals.
The programme offers returners support throughout their fixed term contracts and has been a huge success with returners joining a wide range of Directorates and a consistently high conversion rate from FTC to permanent contracts.
