Philippe Aghion is Professor at the Collège de France and the London School of Economics and was previously Professor of Economics at Harvard.
During the session, Philippe discussed his new book, The Power of Creative Destruction, (co-authored by Céline Antonin and Simon Bunel), which examines what drives economic growth and how economies can be prosperous under capitalism. It also discusses the potential scientific and political tools which can be used to harness the dynamics of creative destruction and better regulate capitalism to improve the system.
