The number of UK registered firms operating under the Solvency II regime

We publish details of a selection of requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and the information we disclose in response.

Disclosure: 

As at 22 April 2016, there were 422 firms regulated under the Solvency II regime, which included 329 solo entities and 93 groups.  Please note that these figures are subject to change (for example, due to system changes and updates from Solvency I to Solvency II, business transfers and new authorisations).
