Disclosure:

Receipts relating to the credit card transactions for Mark Carney and Lyndon Nelson in 2015.  The receipts for Mark Carney include expenditure relating to his attendance at Bank for International Settlements (‘BIS’) meetings in Basel. The Bank of England (the ‘Bank’) is reimbursed by the BIS for these expenses and those receipts have been annotated accordingly. Mr Carney is a member of the Board of Directors of the BIS in his capacity as the Governor of the Bank and, in addition to having his travel expenses reimbursed, is paid a fee for attendance at Board meetings which is also remitted to the Bank. This helps defray the cost of other Bank employees who must attend BIS-related meetings.
