The Governors and Directors drinks which took place on the 6 December 2016 are held in the Court Room and a large number of internal and external guests are invited which includes contacts who have worked with the Bank during the year. We received around 270 acceptances and 178 guests attended on the evening.
The amount spent was £2,593.52 and the breakdown was as follows:
Alcohol (sparkling, red and white wine) - £707.60
Soft drinks (orange juice, water) - £19.92
Canapes catered for 200 guests - £1,866.00
For ‘functions and receptions held in the Bank’ – please find below a table showing the number of bottles of beer, wine and spirits purchased through our suppliers for Bank functions at our Threadneedle Street and Moorgate buildings for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, and the amount spent on each. Often we plan ahead looking at events in the forthcoming year and therefore the amounts shown are for what is purchased in that year not necessarily consumed. The functions held would include a range of formal and informal events such as the Governors and Directors end of year drinks as mentioned above, employee network receptions and charitable events amongst others.
