The Bank of England (the ‘Bank’) hosted one reception which was attended by external third parties during the time period 1 November 2017 to 31 January 2018. This was the Governors and Directors Christmas Drinks reception which took place on 4 December 2017 in the Bank’s Court Room to thank business contacts for their support during the year. We received around 270 acceptances for this reception.
The total cost for this reception was £4,683.97 which includes staff costs, equipment hire, alcohol and canapés. The total amount spent on alcohol for this reception was £682.25 which was for 70 bottles of sparkling, red and white wine. No bottles of beer or spirits were served.
