Average Effective Rate (‘AER’) series for September 2020

Freedom of Information rules mean that, as a public authority, the Bank of England is obliged to disclose certain types of information, both proactively and on request.

The Average Effective Rate (‘AER’) sent to the Office for National Statistics by the Bank of England as part of the calculation of the Retail Price Index for September 2020 was 2.13%.
