The number of EU firms who have notified the PRA for the Temporary Permissions Regime as at 21 January 2020

We publish details of a selection of requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and the information we disclose in response.

Date: 14 February 2020

Disclosure:

We are only able to provide information relating to firms who have notified the Prudential Regulation Authority ('PRA'), which is part of the Bank of England, for Temporary Permissions Regime ('TPR') status. This would include all firms which are required to be dual regulated. Notifications by firms, who are solely regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority ('FCA'), or will become so in the future, would have been made to the FCA's TPR.

As at 21 January 2020 there are 389 firms who have notified the PRA for TPR status, and below is a breakdown of these firms by country. However, at this time, we are unable to publish a list of the individual firms concerned.
