‘When was the Ways and Means advance to the National Loans Fund that is reported in the Bank's 'Annual Report and Accounts' of financial statements under the 'Issue Department statement of balances' first established in this format at the Bank of England.

The Ways and Means advances to the National Loans Fund (the ‘NLF’) was first established and included in the Issue Department Accounts in April 1968, which is when the NLF was established.
