Change of publication time for the Financial Stability Report, Bank of England stress testing results and the Bank’s report on EU withdrawal scenarios and monetary and financial stability
The Financial Stability Report (FSR) and the full results of the Bank’s annual stress test of major UK banks, due to be published at 07.00hrs (GMT), Wednesday 28 November, will now be published at 16.30hrs (GMT) on Wednesday 28 November.
The Bank’s report on EU withdrawal scenarios and monetary and financial stability, requested by the Treasury Select Committee earlier this year in correspondence with the Governor, will also be published at this time.
The change in timing follows recent confirmation of the date for the Meaningful Vote on the EU Withdrawal Agreement on Tuesday 11 December, and also notification that the Bank will be appearing before the Treasury Select Committee on Tuesday 4 December on the content of the Bank’s report on EU withdrawal scenarios and monetary and financial stability. Bringing publication of the Bank’s report on EU withdrawal scenarios and monetary and financial stability forward will allow more time for the TSC and MPs to consider that analysis before the Committee hearing and the Meaningful Vote respectively.
No further information on the FSR, stress test results or analysis will be released at this stage. The Record of the Financial Policy Committee’s Meeting will be published at 09.30hrs (GMT) on 5 December.
