This review gives first a general survey of financial developments in the financial year to date. It then deals in turn with each of the main sectors - though only partial statistics are available after the second calendar quarter. The third main section reviews the course of interest rates and other developments in the various markets during August to October (earlier months being covered in previous issues of the Bulletin).
