Eryk Walczak is a Specialist Trading Desk Senior Dealer in the Foreign Exchange Division. He holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from University College London. Before joining the Bank, Eryk held analytic roles at a fintech company and a social media firm. He has also served as a researcher and an advisor during secondments to the Behavioural Insights Team (2017) and the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub (2022-2024). His research interests focus on applying data science and experimental methods to study economic trends.
