Vania Esady is a research economist in the Current Economic Conditions Division in the Monetary Analysis Directorate at the Bank of England. She is an empirical macroeconomist. Her research focuses on the effect of information frictions on expectations formation and its implications for policy making – in particular, using survey data to measure these frictions.
Vania received her PhD from City, University of London. She also holds an MSc from the University of Warwick and a BSc from the University of Amsterdam.
