In this speech Michael discusses the Monetary Policy Committee's recent monetary easing and the policy trade-offs underlying that decision. Michael then discusses his own views on some of the issues in the economic outlook and the MPC's policy options if the economy turns out significantly stronger or weaker than the Committee's central forecast.
