Banking sector regulatory capital - 2017 Q3

• The common equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital ratio for the UK banking sector was 14.9% in 2017 Q3, the same as in Q2. The total capital ratio also remained flat, at 20.5%.
• The level of CET1 capital decreased by 0.3% on the quarter, from £441bn to £440bn.
• There was a 0.2% decrease in total risk-weighted assets on the quarter, from £2,955bn to £2,947bn.
