The statistics provide a breakdown of the balance sheet, income statement, membership and loans. The figures are reported at a UK level and split to show aggregated values for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Key points from the data to the end of June 2018 include:
- Total capital increased 3% for the UK as a whole in Q2 2018, reaching over £400m for the first time;
- Total assets have continued to increase, and are 1% higher than in Q1 2018, currently at £3.3bn for the UK as a whole;
- Total value of net liabilities in arrears rose 2% in Q2 2018 to £70m, which represents 4.6% of Total loans to members for the UK.
