The analysis deals mainly with the flow of funds between the various sectors in the last quarter of 1970, the latest period for which a full set of statistics is available, and in 1970 as a whole. There is comment on the first quarter of this year where statistics are available, in particular for the banking sector, money stock, domestic credit and central government financing. The analysis of quarterly flows is based throughout on seasonally adjusted figures. Unadjusted quarterly figures are given in Table J and yearly figures in Table K.
