Biography
A research economist in the Monetary Strategy Team, John obtained his PhD from the London School of Economics in 2013. His research interests are in information frictions, model determinacy, networks, digital currency and monetary policy. His policy work involves advising the Monetary Policy Committee on optimal policy, risk management and communication strategy. John also serves as an associate editor on the Bank’s blog, Bank Underground.
