- Gross capital issuance by UK residents was £35.8bn in November, compared to £41.6bn in October and the previous six month average of £42.7bn (Chart 1).
- Net capital issuance was -£4.2bn in November, compared to £7.7bn in October and the previous six month average of £3.3bn (Chart 1).
- Year-to-date gross issuance was £492.3bn, £62.6bn higher than at the same point the previous year (Chart 2).
- Year-to-date net issuance was £64.5bn, £18.5bn higher than at the same point the previous year (Chart 3).

Bond issuance
- Gross bond issuance was £18.1bn in November, compared to £24.2bn in October and the previous six month average of £23.8bn (Chart 4).
- Net bond issuance was -£8.7bn in November, compared to £3.6bn in October and the previous six month average of £1.6bn (Chart 4).
- The decrease in net issuance was driven by a decrease in PNFC issuance combined with an increase in repayments from both the PNFC and OFC sectors.

Commercial paper issuance
- Gross commercial paper issuance was £13.3bn in November, compared to £13.5bn in October and the previous six month average of £15.9bn (Chart 5).
- Net commercial paper issuance was £0.2bn in November, compared to £0.4bn in October and the previous six month average of -£1.2bn (Chart 5).
- Net commercial paper issuance remained largely unchanged in November, a slight increase to PNFC issuance was offset by a small decrease in both OFC and MFI issuance.

Equity issuance
- Gross equity issuance was £4.5bn in November, compared to £3.9bn in October and the previous six month average of £3.1bn (Chart 6).
- Net equity issuance was £4.3bn in November, compared to £3.7bn in October and the previous six month average of £2.9bn (Chart 6).
- The increase in net issuance was driven by an increase in issuance by the PNFC sector.
