Key points
- UK-owned monetary financial institutions and their branches and subsidiaries worldwide reported a decrease in consolidated external claims on an ultimate risk basis of $132.0 billion during 2022 Q2, to a level of $4,111.0 billion.
- By sector, the largest decrease was on the public sector, down by $43.5 billion to a level of $1,331.5 billion.
- By region, the largest decrease in claims was on Developed Countries, down $98.9 billion to a level of $2,435.6 billion.
